A correct understanding of God will have a major impact on our lives.

• It will affect what we believe and how we live our lives.
• “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” A.W. Tozer
• If we are wrong about who God is, we will be wrong everywhere else.

When you want to get to know what someone is like you look at their character.

• In the case of God, His attributes refer to His nature, His character, and the core of who He is.

A few points on the attributes of God:

• We cannot understand who God is in His entirety, but we can understand what God reveals about Himself in His Word.
• All of these attributes are present in the entire Godhead in that they are found in all three persons of the Trinity.
• All of these attributes are eternally permanent in God.
• All of these attributes are inseparably interconnected.
