A Little Life Update

Posted on

Hey guys i know its been a while since you’ve heard from me. As you can see from the blog itself i havent really kept up with it this year, but i promise I have a good reason.

I have actually gone through a few job changes this year and its taken me a bit to get use to the time changes, not to mention the physical demands of the job.

As you can see from my last two posts, I posted the crafts already available on my blog for both Lifeways and Groups 2019 Vacation Bible School curriculum’s. I know, pretty late and I’m guessing most of you have already had your Vacation Bible Schools at your local churches.

I’m determined to get back on track before the end of the year. This way I can post on a regular basis next year.

My next post will be my yearly poll to help me decide which VBS 2020 curriculum to plan for.

All I ask is that you continue to show me a bit of patience. ūüėÄ

I have made the intention and purpose of my site very clear throughout the years. My hope is that it serves as a blessing to you and your childrens ministry.

A few things have come up this year that have kept me from fully spending as much time as I would otherwise like to invest on my site. But I will continue to work hard to provide you with the resources to make running your ministry smoother.

I just wanted to remind you guys that I have a Spanish version of my site as well. I have fallen a little behind on it, but I hope to have it completely up to date with all the material (crafts, coloring pages, and lessons) within a few months.

It’s called Manualidades De La Biblia.

Also, don’t¬†forget that starting next month I will begin uploading the crafts for the two Vacation Bible School 2018 programs.

You can already find them listed on my site. Just go to the main menu and you will find them under VBS Crafts.

VBS 2018This is a quick post letting you know that tomorrow I will be posting my yearly VBS poll. You will have a week to vote for your preferred VBS curriculum.

Quick Update

Hi guys, I just wanted to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas. Although as believers we do not need a special day out of the year to remember the birth of our Lord and Savior.

I will be off until the 1st of January and then I’ll be up and running again.

I plan on posting my annual¬†VBS poll in the month of January as well. Sooo… keep your eyes out for that. Remember that I only plan crafts for the top two VBS programs.

I also plan on expanding the curriculum section on my blog, starting first with the attributes of God.

I have a few more plans and ideas in the works which will hopefully work themselves out during the year.

Again I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

May God continue to bless and grow your childrens ministries. My prayer will continue to be that the children that attend your programs and services come to the saving knowledge of the Lord.

Yours in Christ,

Jesus Rolon

Hi guys, I apologize for being gone for a month.¬†I have quite a few crafts that are ready to upload, but I’ve been quite busy.

Our children’s ministry has dedicated the last month to planning and actually having Vacation Bible School at our congregation.

We had a wonderful week, the kids had a blast, but more importantly, we were able to present the Gospel message to every child that attended.

Here are a few pics of the decorations and a group pic we took of the kids at the end of the week.

At Maker Fun Factory, one memorable Bible Point is reinforced throughout each station, each day‚ÄĒmaking it easy to apply long after VBS is over.

Regular Baptist Press’ Over The Moat¬†came in third place. If I have any free time I will work on crafts for this VBS program, but my focus will be on the two winning VBS programs.

This week I will post the crafts that are already on my site that can be used for these two VBS programs and in the coming weeks I will start adding new ones to the list.
