Update: Happy Thanksgiving
I would like to take the time to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving as I will be taking all of this week off. I will begin posting the Christmas crafts on the 27th.
I hope you all have a wonderful time with your family and friends surrounded by laughter and good food.

Turkey Sun Catcher 1
Instructions
- Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
- Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
- Cut out all of the white from the template. You will be left with the turkey border shape. The wing and body pieces will be individual pieces.
- Place the turkey shape onto a self-laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
- Place the wing and body pieces on the self-laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Fill the inside of the turkey with colored tissue paper.
- Cover with another sheet of self-laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Cut out the turkey from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Stick the sun catcher to your window with double-sided tape.
Pumpkin Bear Sun Catcher
Instructions
- Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
- Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
- Cut out all of the white from the template. You will be left with the pumpkin/bear border shape. The nose will be an individual piece.
- Place the pumpkin/bear shape onto a self-laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
- Place the nose on the self-laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Fill the inside of the pumpkin/bear with colored tissue paper.
- Cover with another sheet of self-laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Cut out the pumpkin/bear from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Stick the pumpkin/bear to your window with double-sided tape.

- Place the pumpkins shape onto a self-laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
- Fill the inside of the pumpkins with tissue paper.
- Cover with another sheet of self-laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Cut out the pumpkins from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Stick the pumpkins to your window with double-sided tape.
Give Thanks Door Hanger 2
This craft is a simple way of decorating your door for the fall holiday season.
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. You will need the strength of the card stock. If you don’t have card stock you can always glue the template on construction paper or thin card board. (Template)
- Color and cut out both of the pieces.
- Punch a hole on each of the hands and on each side of the sign.
- Attach both pieces with yarn.
- Attach a loop of yarn to the top of the scarecrow so that the craft can be hung on the door.

This craft is a simple way of decorating your door for the fall holiday season.
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. You will need the strength of the card stock. If you don’t have card stock you can always glue the template on construction paper or thin card board. (Template)
- Color and cut out all of the pieces.
- This next step will depend on the age of the child.
- If the child is young have them glue on the arms and legs to the body of the bear. Then, with two equal length pieces of yarn attach the bear to the give thanks sign.
- If the child is older he can attach each individual limb, as well as the sign with yarn.
- Attach a loop of yarn to the top of the give thanks sign to that the craft can be hung on the door.
Variation: Instead of gluing or taping the yarn, with a one hole punch, you can tie the pieces together.
