Fall Door Arrangement 1This corn door decoration is the start of this falls crafts.

The detailed corn template can be used for a quick version of this craft.

If you use the blank corn template, after coloring it in, you can use a large variety of items to decorate it. You can glue on corn kernels, popcorn, fall colored candies, beads, buttons or simply have your kids paint their thumbprints on the template.

Directions

  1. Print the template on cardstcock. (Template)
  2. Color and cut out all of the pieces.
  3. Glue the three corn templates together, side by side.
  4. Finally, glue on the top piece.
  5. To hang the decoration onto the door, glue a piece of yarn or ribbon to the back of the craft.

Instructions

  1. Print the template on card stock. You will need the strength of the card stock. If you don’t have card stock you can always glue the template on construction paper or thin card board. (Template)
  2. Color and cut out both of the pieces.
  3. Punch a hole on each of the hands and on each side of the sign.
  4. Attach both pieces with yarn.
  5. Attach a loop of yarn to the top of the scarecrow so that the craft can be hung on the door.

Instructions

  2. Color and cut out all of the pieces.
  3. This next step will depend on the age of the child.
    1. If the child is young have them glue on the arms and legs to the body of the bear. Then, with two equal length pieces of yarn attach the bear to the give thanks sign.
    2. If the child is older he can attach each individual limb, as well as the sign with yarn.
  4. Attach a loop of yarn to the top of the give thanks sign to that the craft can be hung on the door.

Variation: Instead of gluing or taping the yarn, with a one hole punch, you can tie the pieces together.
