Hey guys i know its been a while since you’ve heard from me. As you can see from the blog itself i havent really kept up with it this year, but i promise I have a good reason.
I have actually gone through a few job changes this year and its taken me a bit to get use to the time changes, not to mention the physical demands of the job.
As you can see from my last two posts, I posted the crafts already available on my blog for both Lifeways and Groups 2019 Vacation Bible School curriculum’s. I know, pretty late and I’m guessing most of you have already had your Vacation Bible Schools at your local churches.
I’m determined to get back on track before the end of the year. This way I can post on a regular basis next year.
My next post will be my yearly poll to help me decide which VBS 2020 curriculum to plan for.
All I ask is that you continue to show me a bit of patience. 😀
Hi guys, I apologize for the lack of posts. I’ve been busy this past month planning, decorating and having my church’s Vacation Bible School.
I will begin my normal uploading schedule this coming month.
Thanks for the patience.
I just wanted to remind you guys that I have a Spanish version of my site as well. I have fallen a little behind on it, but I hope to have it completely up to date with all the material (crafts, coloring pages, and lessons) within a few months.
It’s called Manualidades De La Biblia.
Also, don’t forget that starting next month I will begin uploading the crafts for the two Vacation Bible School 2018 programs.
You can already find them listed on my site. Just go to the main menu and you will find them under VBS Crafts.
The winners of the V.B.S. 2018 poll are:
LifeWay’s 2018 VBS invites your kids to grab their megaphones, lace up their cleats, and tune up their instruments. As they fill up the offensive line, sideline, and drumline, your players, cheerleaders, and band members will realize God has given them His ultimate playbook. He wants them to join His team, train hard, celebrate salvation, and encourage one another. Get in the spirit today with Game On! VBS.
Spark Imagination With Faith-Building Fun! Venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive. Anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms.
This week I will post the crafts that are already on my site that can be used for these two VBS programs and in March I will start adding new ones to the list.
Hi guys, I apologize for being gone for a month. I have quite a few crafts that are ready to upload, but I’ve been quite busy.
Our children’s ministry has dedicated the last month to planning and actually having Vacation Bible School at our congregation.
We had a wonderful week, the kids had a blast, but more importantly, we were able to present the Gospel message to every child that attended.
Here are a few pics of the decorations and a group pic we took of the kids at the end of the week.
The winners of the V.B.S. 2017 poll are:
Lifeway’s VBS 2017 turns your kids into Galactic Starveyors!
As kids focus their telescopes on the marvels painted in the sky by the Creator, they will discover the wonder among all wonders- that the God who created everything there is, wants a personal relationship with them!
A world where curious kids become hands-on inventors who discover they’re lovingly crafted by God.
At Maker Fun Factory, one memorable Bible Point is reinforced throughout each station, each day—making it easy to apply long after VBS is over.
Regular Baptist Press’ Over The Moat came in third place. If I have any free time I will work on crafts for this VBS program, but my focus will be on the two winning VBS programs.
This week I will post the crafts that are already on my site that can be used for these two VBS programs and in the coming weeks I will start adding new ones to the list.
This is a quick post letting you know what I have coming up on my blog.
Tomorrow I will be posting my yearly VBS poll. You will have a week to vote for your preferred VBS curriculum. Remember that I only create crafts for the top two VBS curriculums, so make sure that you get your kids ministry team to vote as well.
I will post the results of the poll on Sunday and I will begin posting the crafts in April.
Also, I plan on getting an early start on my Easter crafts this year. I will begin uploading them next week.
I want to thank you all for your patience. I know I’ve been a little slow in getting back on schedule after the holidays. Thank you for all your support and kind words.
I pray that my blog can continue to be a blessing to you and your ministries.
Crafting The Word Of God
Iv’e been quite busy lately so that is why I haven’t updated the site in a while, but things have finally gone back to normal.
Most of the crafts for this years Vacation Bible School’s have already been uploaded, but in the next two weeks I will finish uploading the rest.
Also, I have finished updating all of the printable pages on my site. For every coloring page there is now a puzzle activity page available as well. I plan, in the next few weeks, on placing both templates on the same web page. This way on the same page you will find a bible stories’ coloring page and puzzle page. If the story also has a connect the dots, maze or color by number, it will be included on the same page as well.
And finally I am considering providing colored in versions of my coloring pages as well as bible images/cliparts that can be used in power points, bulletin boards, flyers or any printed or digital document. I would like to know if this is something you guys would find useful, otherwise I will spend time updating other areas of the site.
