Instructions

Print the template on regular copy paper, but I recommend card stock.

Color then cut out each puzzle piece.

To make the pieces last longer you can laminate each individual piece.

Turkey Wreath

This cute turkey wreath will look great hanging from your door.

The wreath can also be decorated using craft feathers or fall leaves.

Instructions

  1. Cut out the inner circle of a paper plate. You will be left with a ring.
  2. Paint the paper ring brown.
  3. Print the template. (Template)
  4. Color and cut out all of the template pieces.
  5. Glue the large feathers on the outside edge of the painted ring.
  6. Next glue the smaller feathers between the larger feathers.
  7. Glue the wings onto the turkey body.
  8. Then glue on the feet of your choice onto the turkey body. If you choose the longer feet you can bend the feet to give it a cool design.
  9. Finally glue the turkey onto the bottom of the wreath.

Instructions

  1. Print the template onto card stock. On one side print the circle pattern and on the other side of the circle pattern print the feather pattern. (Template)
  2. Color and cut out all of the pieces.
  3. Assemble the basket/body: Take the circle and cut on the four dotted lines. On the circle, fold the solid lines to make creases. Add glue one at a time to each corner of the circle, bring them in and glue them to the back of the squarish parts to form the basket shape.
  4. Glue the head and wings to the basket.
  5. Finally add to the back of the basket either the fan feather design or the individual feather design.

Fill the baskets with nuts, candies or crayons.

Hand Turkey

Kids like to paint, and more if they get to use their hands. So put that enthusiasm to work by using their little hands to make this hand turkey.

Your kids will love making this adorable hand turkey for their Thanksgiving craft. Not only is this craft simple to make, but your kids will enjoy making it as well.

Hand Turkey

Instructions

  1. Print the template. (Template)
  2. Add paint to your hand. The base should be brown and add stripes of yellow, red and orange to your fingers.
  3. Place your hand on a piece of white paper. Allow the paint to dry.
  4. Once the paint is dried, cut out the hand.
  5. Color and cut out all of the pieces from the template.
  6. Glue the smaller circle to the larger circle.
  7. Glue on the feet and the beak.
  8. Glue the turkey body to the painted, cut out hand.
  9. Finish the turkey by gluing on googly eyes or two small black circles.

This is a simple, but cute Thanksgiving craft.

Glue it onto a sheet of brown construction paper, decorate it with fallen leaves and it can be used as a place mat.
