Update: Lack Of Posting

Posted on Updated on

Stressed-who-me-woman2I want to talk about why I haven’t been regularly posting new crafts and activity sheets this month.

The month of July has always been the most hectic month for me every year. It seams as if this is the moth when I’m at my busiest.

Lucky for me this year I have even more projects to work on 🙂 and activities and projects at church just add to the chaos.

  • Schools starting in a month.
  • Projects with my church media ministry regularly keep me busy.
  • I have my weekly lessons to prepare for.
  • We are currently organizing our V.B.S. program and decorating three days a week.
  • This year we decided to come up with our own kids program at church. This project seams to be taking most of my time since this includes planning the lessons, teaching material, handbooks, uniforms, crafts, designs, mascots, you name it…

I am about two weeks behind on Crafting the Word of God and about a month behind on the Spanish version of my site.

I just wanted to upload this short post to let you, my awesome readers know what’s going on with my schedule and why its affecting my frequency of posting. Hopefully as the month comes to an end the chaos will settle down enough where I can dedicate a lot more time into planing more and more crafts.

Just wanted to reassure you. Everyone I know of who provides ministry materials online – expecially the free ones – goes through quiet times – myself included! This is often accompanied by a feeling of letting down the readers by not keeping to our own self imposed schedules… self imposed as they are! However, most followers are not really worried, the web is littered with abandoned sites and the gift you have already given and will continue to give, at whatever speed, is very much appreciated 🙂

No problem. I know what you mean about being busy. That picture on your website with this post, it could be me. Anyway, I look forward to your posts whenever you get the time to get back to us. If I’m searching for a craft for my Sunday School class, your site is one of the first ones that I check.

Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful crafts.

I, also, create the curriculum for our church’s Wednesday night program for children. I’m thankful that I can use many of your crafts as I work on that curriculum all year. We’re studying the names of God this year!! I hope that your planning and work goes smoothly and that the kids love it! Just breathe and let your talents bless the Lord and the children.
