I would like to take the time to wish all my readers a Happy Thanksgiving as I will be taking all of next week off. I will resume posting again on the first of December.

Give Thanks Door Hanger 2
This craft is a simple way of decorating your door for the fall holiday season.
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. You will need the strength of the card stock. If you don’t have card stock you can always glue the template on construction paper or thin card board. (Template)
- Color and cut out both of the pieces.
- Punch a hole on each of the hands and on each side of the sign.
- Attach both pieces with yarn.
- Attach a loop of yarn to the top of the scarecrow so that the craft can be hung on the door.

Thanksgiving Turkey Mask 2
A simple turkey mask for your Thanksgiving holiday celebration.
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. (Template)
- Color the beak and wattle on the first page.
- Color the feathers on the second page.
- Cut out the mask and the feathers.
- Glue the feathers onto the mask.
- Cut out the eyes from the mask.
- Glue a large popsicle stick to the bottom of the mask.

Scarecrow Door Knob Hanger
A simple Thanksgiving doorknob decoration.
I decorated the craft with the leaves found in the template, but you can use actual leaves, Thanksgiving/fall stickers or craft turkey feathers.
Instructions
- Print the template. (Template)
- Cut out both of the two largest pieces.
- Glue them to two different colors of construction paper.
- Cut both pieces out.
- From the smaller piece cut out the hole for the door knob.
- Glue the smaller piece onto the larger piece.
- Cut out the hole for the door knob one more time.
- Decorate the assembled pieces. Again I used the leaves found in the template, but feel free to use what you have on hand.
- Color and cut out the scarecrow and the “happy thanksgiving or count your blessings” sign.
- Glue the scarecrow toward the bottom of the hanger.
- Finally glue the “ happy thanksgiving or count your blessings” sign under the scarecrow.
Give Thanks Door Hanger
This craft is a simple way of decorating your door for the fall holiday season.
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. You will need the strength of the card stock. If you don’t have card stock you can always glue the template on construction paper or thin card board. (Template)
- Color and cut out all of the pieces.
- This next step will depend on the age of the child.
- If the child is young have them glue on the arms and legs to the body of the bear. Then, with two equal length pieces of yarn attach the bear to the give thanks sign.
- If the child is older he can attach each individual limb, as well as the sign with yarn.
- Attach a loop of yarn to the top of the give thanks sign to that the craft can be hung on the door.
Variation: Instead of gluing or taping the yarn, with a one hole punch, you can tie the pieces together.
