Cloud Dough

Posted on Updated on

This dough has a great consistency.  It goes from powdery one moment to  moldable wet sand the next. Plus it smells wonderful. Your kids will have hours of fun!

Cloud Dough

Ingredients

  • 8 cups flour
  • 1 cup baby oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all the  ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Place the dough into a large tray.
  3. Lay the tray on a table or other flat surface (I recommend using this dough outside since it can get all over the place). Put small containers and plastic toys in the tray with the dough. You and your kiddos will have tons of fun!

Pillar Of Fire And Of Cloud

Posted on Updated on

God never abandoned the Israelites in the dessert and in the same way God does not abandon His children.

Through this story the kiddos will learn that God is always with His children guiding them and protecting them.

Pillars

Instructions

  1. Wrap a toilet paper roll with blue construction paper and a second one with either black or purple construction paper.
  2. On the blue toilet paper, glue on white cotton balls. Different sizes and patterns.
  3. With the black roll, using red, yellow and/or orange tissue  paper, make little bunches and then glue them onto the pillar.

I have included flame templates in case you do not wish to use the tissue paper. (Template)

Rainbow Covenant

Posted on Updated on

“3 The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth. It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever. 14 When I send clouds over the earth, and a rainbow appears in the sky, 15 I will remember my promise to you and to all other living creatures. Never again will I let flood waters destroy all life.” Genesis 9:13-15

This craft can be used to teach the story of Noah and to help reinforce the fact that God always keeps His promises.
