The Church

Posted on

The church is the group of believers not the building itself. It is very important that kids have a correct understanding of what the church is and isn’t.

Important aspects to cover when teaching our kids about the church:

  • The difference between the local and universal church.
  • When the church was founded.
  • The reason we gather together every week.
  • Our responsibilities as members of the church.
  • How the church is organized.
  • The differences and similarities between the early church and the modern church.
  • Why it is important to teach sound doctrine in the church.
  • The responsibilities of the entire church.

This craft will be a great addition to your teaching of the church.

Faith The Size Of A Mustard Seed

Posted on

A mustard seed is incredibly small yet it is used by Christ to explain the power and importance of faith.

” 5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you.” Luke 17:5-6

“And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:20
