Water To Wine
This craft is an illustration of Christ’s first recorded miracle.
7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it to him. 9 When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew)… 11 This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.” John 2:7-9, 11
Instructions
- Print the template. (Template)
- Color and cut out both pieces.
- Cut the piece from the bottom of the largest piece.
- Use a paper fastener/ split pin/ metal brad to attach the circle piece to the largest piece.

John 3:16 Door Hanger
John 3:16 is probably the most well-known verse in the Bible.
This quick craft will go well with your study on the love of God and is very customizable.
Instructions
- Print the template on cardstock. (Template)
- Cut out both of the two largest pieces.
- Glue them to two different colors of construction paper.
- Cut both pieces out.
- From the smaller piece cut out the hole for the door knob.
- Glue the smaller piece onto the larger piece.
- Cut out the hole for the door knob one more time.
- Color and cut out the world and the heart template pieces.
- Glue the world figure to the assembled piece.
- Lastly, glue on the hearts around the craft.
You can also use felt, craft foam, glitter or stickers.

Jesus Loves The Little Children Sun Catcher
“13 Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:13-14
Instructions
- Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
- Cut out all of the white of the inside of the template. You will be left with the outline.
- Place the outline onto a self laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
- Fill the inside of the outline with different color tissue paper.
- Cover with another sheet of self-laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Cut out the outline from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Stick the craft onto your window with double sided tape.
Paper Plate Rooster
And Jesus said to him, “Truly I say to you, that this very night before a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times.” Mark 14:30
This is an easy rooster craft for the story of Peter’s denial of Jesus.
Instructions
- Print the template on cardstock. (Template)
- Color a paper plate the same color as you will color the body of the rooster.
- Color and cut out all of the pieces. You can choose whether or not to use the feathers.
- Glue the head and wings to the body of the rooster.
- If you are not going to be using the feathers cut the top of the paper plate so that it resembles feathers. If you are going to use the feathers glue them in a bunch (4 x 3) and then glue them to the body of the rooster.
- Glue the nest to the bottom of the paper plate.
- Finally, glue the assembled rooster just above the nest.

Christmas Nativity Scene
We made these Christmas nativity scenes this week for our childrens programs.
Instructions
- Print the template onto heavy cardstock. (Template)
- Color and cut out all of the pieces.
- On the largest piece fold along the dashed lines all the way to the top. By doing this you are creating the sides.
- Fold the bottom of the largest piece and cut just on the dashed lines.
- Glue the bottom (hay) piece to the largest piece.
- Fold the bottom of each of the figure pieces.
- Glue the Jesus set to the middle of the scene.
- Finally glue the other figure on each side of the Jesus set.
Feel free to spruce up the crafts by using actual hay on the bottom of the scene or using glitter on the star and hay.
You can also leave the background of the scene white and place a flameless candle behind the assembled craft.
