Jesus Walks On Water
The world around us can get hectic and crazy and we can be pushed around by waves of different problems. But we shouldn’t worry about the problems around us or our difficult situations. Instead we should keep our eyes set on Jesus and know that we can completely trust in Him. We need to step out of the boat in faith and keep our eyes on Jesus knowing that He promises to help us through the most turbulent of storms.
“30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!” Matthew 14:30-33
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. (Template)
- Color and cut out both pieces, including the solid line on the boat piece.
- Glue the figure onto a popsicle stick.
- Stick the popsicle stick through the slit you made on the boat piece.
Jesus Heals A Paralytic Man
A cute craft to help the kiddos remember the story of Jesus healing a paralytic man. This craft can be assembled quickly if everything is printed onto colored paper or construction paper.
Instructions
- Print the templates onto different colored paper or construction paper. (Template)
- Cut the first page in half. Then take an xacto knife and cut along the parallel lines. This part should be done by an adult.
- Cut out the strips from the second page.
- Weave the strips into the rectangular base. Rotate going over and under with every new strip to create a weaving pattern.
- Cut out the feet.
- Finally glue on the feet to the mat by arranging the feet on the mat and then gluing them in place.
I have also included the words “Jesus Heals” in case you would like to add it to the mat.
Blind Man Healed Mask
This craft will help your kiddos remember the story of Jesus healing a blind man. On one side of the mask you have a sad face with bandages on his eyes. This side symbolizes the blind man before he was healed. And on the other side you have a happy face with a big smile who has now been healed by the miraculous power of Christ.
Instructions
- Print and color the templates. (Template)
- Cut out both faces and the bandages. Each child will need two bandages.
- Glue each face onto a piece of construction paper. Both pieces of construction paper should be the same color.
- Cut out the faces again, leaving a small border of construction paper.
- Grab the happy face and place it facing down. Glue on a large popsicle stick for a handle.
- While this is drying glue on the bandages to the eyes of the sad face.
- Finally glue the sad face to the back of the happy face. The popsicle stick will be sandwiched in between both faces.
Crossing The Red Sea
A great craft to help your kids remember the walls of the Red Sea and how God performed a miracle that allowed His people to cross into safety.
“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided.” Exodus 14:21
Instructions
- Print and color the templates. (Template)
- Cut out the figures and the main background.
- Fold the creases on the main background.
- Add glue to the two tabs to form the background.
- Fold the crease on the base of the figures.
- Add glue to the base of the figures and place them on the main background.
In the picture I colored the sand yellow, but your kids can use actual sand to decorate the background.
The Miracle Of The Fish And The Coin
Jesus did many miracles while on earth. One that is generally not talked a lot about was telling Peter to open a fish’s mouth and having him find a coin inside. This would be a great story to do for your children’s ministry.

- Color in the coin.
- Cut out a triangular shape from a paper plate. The triangular piece will be used as the fin.
- Cut out the scale, the coin and the eye.
- Use the scale as a template and trace it onto different colored construction paper.

- Glue the scales onto the fish in a random or specific order. Use your imagination; you can get amazing color combinations.
- Glue scales onto the fin in the same order as the body of the fish.
- Cut off any excess scales from the rim of the paper plate and fin.
- Glue the fin to the body.
- Finally glue the eye and the gold coin to the fish.
