Bible Sun Catcher

Instructions

  1. Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
  2. Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
  3. Cut out all of the white from the template. You will be left with the Bible border shape and the small cross shape.
  4. Place the Bible shape onto a self laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
  5. Place the cross shape onto the self laminating sheet or contact paper.
  6. Fill the inside of the Bible with tissue paper.
  7. Cover with another sheet of self laminating sheet or contact paper.
  8. Cut out the Bible from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
  9. Stick the Bible to your window with double sided tape.

A great craft for the story of Joseph’s coat of many colors.

“Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors.” Genesis 37:3

Instructions

  1. Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
  2. Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
  3. Cut out all of the white of the inside of the coat from the template.
  4. Then cut out the whole figure.
  5. Place the figure of Joseph onto a self laminating sheet or contact paper, Joseph’s face-side down.
  6. Fill the inside of the coat with different color tissue paper.
  7. Cover with another sheet of self laminating sheet or contact paper.
  8. Cut out Joseph from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
  9. Stick Joseph onto your window with double sided tape.

Popsicle Stick Ark Of The Covenant

Your kids will use simple materials in order to create their own ark of the covenant.

While your kids are making their very own ark of the covenant, go over why the ark was built, its purpose and significance.

Popsicle Ark Of The Covenant

Instructions

  1. Print the template on card stock or construction paper. (Template)
  2. Color and cut out the ark of the covenant template. Skip the coloring step by printing the template on gold construction paper.
  3. Glue yellow colored popsicle sticks onto the template. You can also paint regular wooden popsicle sticks yellow using markers or paint.
  4. If you desire, decorate the ark of the covenant using glitter.

This craft is a great visualization of 2 Timothy 3:16; God as the author of Scripture.

Instructions

  1. Print the template on card stock. (Template)
  2. Color and cut out all of the pieces.
  3. Glue the Bible onto the cloud shape.
  4. Glue a large popsicle stick to the bottom of the face piece.
  5. Glue the cloud just under the nose of the face.
  6. Bend the cloud so that it comes away from the face, as if the nose was blowing out in a 45 degree angle.

Things are starting to calm down around here so I decided to upload a quick post.

This is another quick, but cute sun catcher craft. This time for one of my favorite stories; the story of Jonah and the great fish.

Instructions

  1. Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
  2. Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
  3. Cut out all of the white from the template. You will be left with the fish border shape. Keep the eye and body figure.
  4. Place the fish shape onto a self laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
  5. Then place the eye and figure inside the body of the fish.
  6. Fill the inside of the fish with tissue paper.
  7. Cover with another sheet of self laminating sheet or contact paper.
  8. Cut out the fish from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
  9. Stick the fish to your window with double sided tape.

A really cute craft for the story of Moses and the burning bush.

Instructions

  1. Print the template onto card stock. (Template)
  2. Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
  3. Cut out all of the white from the template. You will be left with the burning bush border shape.
  4. Place the burning bush shape onto a self laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
  5. Fill the inside of the trunk, leaves and fire with tissue paper.
  6. Cover with another sheet of self laminating sheet or contact paper.
  7. Cut out the burning bush from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
  8. Stick the burning bush to your window with double sided tape.

Pharaohs Head Dress 2

Pharaohs Head Dress 2

This craft can be done for different Bible stories and adapted for each one. It can be used for:

  • Abraham’s move to Egypt and his deception towards the pharaoh.
  • Joseph becomes second in command over Egypt.
  • God freeing His people through Moses.

Instructions

  1. Print the first two pages of the template on blue construction paper, the second page on yellow construction paper and the last page on white card stock. The template is blank in case you would like to print the template all white and have your kids color it in. (Template)
  2. Cut out all of the pieces.
  3. Glue the yellow pieces onto the two large pieces.
  4. Attach both blue pieces with the small white rectangular piece.
  5. Next glue on the snake head to the head dress.
  6. Finally attach the head dress to the child’s head using the white stripes.

This cute craft is for the story of Jonah and the great fish.

Your kids will be able to recreat this Bible story for themselves.

Instructions

  1. Print the template on card stock. (Template)
  2. Color and cut out all of the pieces.
  3. Glue the small Jonah onto the the thin strip of paper.
  4. Cut along the thin solid lines on the fish.
  5. Stick the large strip of paper through the large slits.
  6. Stick the thin strip of paper through the smaller slits.

Now it will be easy for your kids to share the story of Jonah with their friends.
