Update: Lack Of Posting
I want to talk about why I haven’t been regularly posting new crafts and activity sheets this month.
The month of July has always been the most hectic month for me every year. It seams as if this is the moth when I’m at my busiest.
Lucky for me this year I have even more projects to work on 🙂 and activities and projects at church just add to the chaos.
- Schools starting in a month.
- Projects with my church media ministry regularly keep me busy.
- I have my weekly lessons to prepare for.
- We are currently organizing our V.B.S. program and decorating three days a week.
- This year we decided to come up with our own kids program at church. This project seams to be taking most of my time since this includes planning the lessons, teaching material, handbooks, uniforms, crafts, designs, mascots, you name it…
I am about two weeks behind on Crafting the Word of God and about a month behind on the Spanish version of my site.
I just wanted to upload this short post to let you, my awesome readers know what’s going on with my schedule and why its affecting my frequency of posting. Hopefully as the month comes to an end the chaos will settle down enough where I can dedicate a lot more time into planing more and more crafts.

A Year Of Blogging
Today marks my blog’s first birthday; one full year of blogging.
When I started my blog I really had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know if anyone would actually visit my blog or if I would even be blogging a year later.
It has been a crazy ride; full of fun, but a lot of hard work.
Through my blog I have been blessed to connect with other children’s ministry leaders from around the world and learn from their experience.
I have been greatly encouraged throughout this year with many kind messages from my readers of how they have been blessed through the crafts on my site. I started this blog with the intention and hope of it serving as a tool to help and inspire you and your children’s ministries. I am glad that it is accomplishing its purpose.
As I begin this new year I will work harder to come up with crafts and coloring pages that you will love to share with all of your kids.
I would like to thank all of my readers for allowing me and my little blog the privilege of serving you and your ministries this past year.
In ending this quick thank you, I would like to leave you with a few of my favorite crafts from this past year.
VBS Runner Ups
The winners of the V.B.S. Runner Up poll are Weird Animals– Group and Workshop Of Wonders– Cokesbury. Ill have the crafts for these two V.B.S. programs up in two to three weeks.
As for Wilderness Escape– Group, since it came in last, I will not be planning the crafts for this V.B.S. program. However I do have a craft for the crossing of the red sea and will be uploading one soon for the manna from heaven.
Next year make sure to get your friends and fellow ministry leaders to vote!
Agency D3 Bible Crafts
Although most Vacation Bible School curriculum programs provide or sell their own Bible crafts, many times they have nothing to do with the Bible story of the day or not much thought went into designing them in the first place.
Yes they provide the convenience of not having to plan them yourself, but your kids end up going home with something they would have preferred to leave in the trash.
Just like I did last year, and as the winner of the V.B.S. curriculum poll, this year I planned the crafts for Lifeway’s Agency D3. Starting tomorrow and continuing until Wednesday, I will post Bible crafts for each of Agency D3’s days; thats Day 1-5.
As I said last year, my hope is that these crafts will help make planning your Vacation Bible School a little less stressful.
So make sure to come back all week and check out the Bible crafts for this years Agency D3.

2013 In Review
As the year has come to an end I have been astonished by what God has been doing with my little blog.
I have been truly blessed to get to know some of the other children’s ministry leaders in this online world, whether it be on Facebook, by email or through their websites and have received great advice from all of you. There are too many of you to thank to list you individually.
Secondly, I would like to thank my readers for this great year. Your words of encouragement and appreciation have helped me keep this little blog chugging along.
I started this blog with the intention and hope of it serving as a tool to help and inspire you and your children’s ministries. I just hope that this blog is living up to that expectation.
As the year has come to a close, I thought it would be fun to share the crafts visited most often this year.
