Roar Bible Crafts
These are the crafts that can be used with the Group’s Roar V.B.S. program.
Although most Vacation Bible School curriculum programs provide or sell their own Bible crafts, many times they have nothing to do with the Bible story of the day or not much thought went into designing them in the first place.
My hope is that these crafts will help make planning your Vacation Bible School a little less stressful.

In The Wild Bible Crafts
These are the crafts that can be used with the Lifeway’s In The Wild V.B.S. program.

Day Of Pentecost Sun Catcher
This craft is a great visual illustration of the story of the day of Pentecost.
Instructions
- Print the template. (Template)
- Glue the template sheet to the back of a sheet of black construction paper.
- Cut out all of the white from the template. You will be left with the head/flame border shape.
- Place the head/flame shape onto a self laminating sheet or contact paper, construction paper side down.
- Fill the inside of the head/flame with tissue paper.
- Cover with another sheet of self laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Cut out the figure from the laminating sheet or contact paper.
- Stick the figure to your window with double sided tape
Jesus Baptism
This quick craft will help illustrate the story of Jesus’ baptism.
Instructions
- Print the template on card stock. (Template)
- Color the main image and the dove.
- Cut out the dove and the attachment parts.
- Assemble the dove and handle: Glue the singular rectangular piece to the back of the dove. Then take the longer attachment piece and bend the solid lines creating creases. On the same longer attachment piece glue the two larger rectangles together. Finally glue the smaller rectangles to the rectangle on the back of the dove.
- Cut on the solid line on the main image.
- Stick the dove piece through the slit on the main image. The dove can now go up and down as if the holy spirit is descending on Christ.
